Values-Driven Leadership by Aubrey Malphurs
Malphurs takes marketplace wisdom and effectively presents it for ministries and churches. This is one of my MA text books but I’m applying his points in my regular life too!
Truth Restored: A Short History of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
I’m not a Mormon but I am interested in other groups’ religious experiences. And I prefer to read about those experiences from “insiders.” Plus, I had to get something during my visit to Salt Lake City! Interesting presentation on the history of a unique American group.
If Only He Knew by Gary Smalley
I’m so glad Smalley wrote this book on marriage. I read it when I was first married but it’s amazing how much I’ve forgotten in six years!
Fast Company Career Guide: It’s YOUR Career…Are YOU In Charge?
Good compilation of FC articles. Very helpful resource about working and managing a career in the “new” economy–even if you don’t work for a dot com!
The Celtic Way of Evangelism by George G. Hunter III
Terrific quick read. Hunter gives a very interesting account of Celtic Christianity and how Celtic principles can positively shape modern day “church.”
Building a Winning Web Site by Robert Bly
Interesting, informative little volume offered free on Network Solutions’ ImageCafe.com website.
