I’ve been out-of-pocket for much of this week but life is good!
- I’m loving the Outflow readings. Those are really resonating with me. And I’m PUMPED about this week’s sermon!
- Yesterday I attended my first board meeting of the New England Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and loved it! Anna and I made a day of it by going down to my alma mater, Milton Academy, and getting sweatshirts. She was awesome in sitting through a 2-hour board meeting too!
- Tonight we’re having our first “Stitchin’….movie” night with a dual focus of hangin’ out with people and making stuff for the homeless shelter. (It’s also to try to develop some commonality on movies so that people can “get” my off-the-cuff movie allusions!!) Tonight we’re watching Sister Act. It’s a bring your own dinner affair starting at 5:30 at our house. Y’all come now, ya hear?”
- Tonight also, our favorite Gordon College RA staff is coming up for their annual RA retreat. We LOVE this group and are looking forward to a great weekend with them.
I’m sure there’s more but I’m going home to spend some time with my family.
Hope your weekend is as eventful as ours!!
