Resting

June 9th, 2008 by Marc

Yesterday we had a first: Emily and I sat on the lawn and read for a couple hours. The kids played in a blow up pool.

No computers. No phones. Just relaxing.

We haven’t sat side-by-side on the lawn like that once since we moved to Waterville.

I’m liking this resting thing.

Good for you guys! This resting thing can become habit forming. I am enjoying it for now while I can still rest.

    Miss you guys.

lack of it can be damaging for sure…enjoy!

however, I am concerned: there’s precious little mention of any Guinness…

Perhaps an amended version could be read as follows:

“Yesterday we had a first: Emily and I sat on the lawn and read for a couple hours. The kids played in a blow up pool.

No computers. No phones. Just relaxing, coupled with a lovely ice cold Guinness.

    Good point!

It was actually a Shipyard Export Ale.

The Guiness Extra Stout was a bit later. :)
