Rebecca: It's nice that the Canadians stick together! :)

I LOVE your other ideas.

Think I'll need to make more not-enough-sugar-cookies this weekend!

I'm with Damien on this one: re-educate your tastebuds! If that fails, however... here are a couple more ideas:
* crumble up your cookies and blend with softened ice cream and milk to make an ice cream smoothie;
* dip in your tea (like the Oreo-in-milk concept);
* crumble, mix with a bit of melted butter, and use as the foundation for a cheesecake or apple torte;
* sandwich two cookies together with a thin layer of buttercream frosting;
and/or
* paint the flat sides with a layer of melted sweetened chocolate & let cool to harden (like chocolate-covered graham wafers).

Emily: Wow! What a great idea!

Ingrid: Yummy!

Damien: You know, I'd wondered that myself. My family thought they were fine. So I've begun to wonder what it would be like if I reduced sugar in other areas too.

Aside from frosting, my temptation would be to try dipping them in melted butter and tossing in either cinnamon & sugar or powdered sugar. Then again, maybe a sweet cream cheese swirled on top? Mmmmmmm!

Here is something to try... don't eat anything with sugar (or honey, maple syrup, or other sweetener) in it for about a week. Then try one of your cookies. I guarantee that it will be one of the sweetest cookies you have ever tasted! It's amazing how our taste buds adjust to a "baseline" sweetness depending on how much sugar we are used to having in our diet.
